* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 104 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Terrence Hilgefort
Terrence "Terry" J. Hilgefort, 58, Piqua, formerly of Fort Loramie, died Jan. 13, 2011, at the Dayton VA Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 13, 1952, in Sidney, to Frank and Rita (Monnin) Hilgefort Fenner. His mother survives in Piqua.
Also surviving are a daughter, Emely Hay (Robert) Hofer, Richmond, Ind.; a brother, Ronald (Betty) Hilgefort, Montezuma; two sisters, Debbie (Ken) Woehrmyer, Lebanon, and Kay Nedercstek, Allentown, Pa.; and a sister-in-law, Jan Hilgefort, Ozone, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his father, a stepfather, Harrison Fenner, and a brother, Kenneth Hilgefort.
He was a 1970 graduate of Fort Loramie High School and served in the Army from 1977-1980. He then served four years in the US Army Reserves. He completed a building maintenance mechanic apprenticeship with the Home Builders Association of Dayton, and was employed by the Dayton VA Medical Center in building maintenance. He attended St. Teresa Catholic Church, Covington.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dayton VA Hospital Hospice.
