Herbert Braun
Herbert Braun, 88, St. Henry, died Jan. 18, 2011, at The Gardens in St. Henry.
He was born May 5, 1922, in Coldwater to Frank and Victoria Heyl Braun. On Jan. 25, 1947, he married Marlene Kemper, who survives in St. Henry.
Also surviving are two sons, James (Karen) Braun and Steven (Donna) Braun, all of St. Henry; a sister, Waneta Becker, Fairborn; three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Braun, Coldwater, Mary Ellen (Leon) Lynn, St. Henry, and Annie Kemper, St. Henry; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Elsie Hemmelgarn; and three brothers, Walter, Werner and Ralph Braun.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry, Coldwater Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135 and St. Henry American Legion Post 648. He retired from the former Pet Milk in Coldwater after working 40 years.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial with military rites is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
