* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold wind chill will occur late tonight into Sunday morning.

Lucas Cathcart

Lucas W. Cathcart, 29, New Bremen, died at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 6, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born Feb. 8, 1981, in Sidney, to Dart and Diane Kueterman Cathcart, who survive in Anna. On Jan. 23, 2010, he married Natalie Meyer, who survives.

Also surviving is a son, Eli Cathcart, New Bremen; a sister, Dannielle Cathcart, Sidney; a maternal grandmother, Patricia Varno, Sidney; paternal grandfather, Leonard Cathcart, Hardin; and his father and mother-in-law, Craig and Sandy (Opperman) Meyer, New Bremen.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in New Knoxville and had attended St. John's Lutheran Church of Sidney. He was a 1999 graduate of Anna High School. He worked at Elsass Fabricating of Anna.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in New Knoxville, the Rev. Thomas Gaertner officiating. Burial is at the German Protestant Cemetery in New Bremen.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Auglaize County Cancer Association.
