The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 606 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Dorothy Knox
Dorothy Belle Knox, 93, St. Marys, died at 9:54 a.m. Feb. 26, 2011, at Otterbein St. Marys Living Center in St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 14, 1918, in Oak Hill to Samuel and S. Elizabeth Keller Oiler. On Feb. 23, 1935, she married Chester Knox, who died in 1983.
Surviving is a son, Chester "Gene" Knox, St. Marys; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are siblings and in-laws, Burleigh Oiler, Lester Oiler, Verna Kimmel, Flora and Clarence Davis, Trilby Oiler and Myrtle and Elmer Holstein.
She worked as a physician's assistant in Jamestown and was a homemaker. She was a member of Wayne Street Methodist Church in St. Marys and the Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral rites are 10 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Kevin J. Doseck officiating. Burial is at Silver Creek Township Cemetery in Jamestown.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Grand Lake Hospice or WSUMC Building Fund.
