Paul Mizer, St. John music minister and organist, plans to complete by late summer his year-long project to write the church history in honor of its 175th anniversary. The church organ is a Pilcher, one of about 2,000 built by Henry Pilcher's Sons of Louisville, Ky. Pilcher and descendants built pipe organs for 122 years, closing the firm in 1944.
