At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Edward Waldron
Edward J. "Ed" Waldron, 61, Albany, died March 26, 2011, at his home.
He was born Dec. 18, 1949 in Van Wert to the late Harold L. and Maxaline M. Debacher Waldron.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Adam Waldron; two daughters, Stacy (Aaron) Hayes, Albany, and Elizabeth (Robert) Graves, Athens; a son, Seth (Angela) Waldron, Albany; two brothers, Preston (Pam) Waldron, High Point, N.C., and Forrest (Melody) Houseworth, Cochise, Ariz.; two sisters, Connie (Jim) Johnson and Melanie (Grant) Dias, all of Van Wert; and eight grandchildren.
A 1968 graduate of Van Wert High School, he joined the Ohio State Highway Patrol in 1971 and was assigned to the St. Marys post, now in Wapakoneta. In 1973 he moved to resident trooper in Mercer County. In 1985, he was promoted to sergeant and named assistant post commander in Athens. He retired in 1999.
He was named Post Trooper of the Year in St. Marys in 1981. He also served as an academy instructor and as the Jackson district range officer. A member of Albany Baptist Church, he served as Sunday school teacher, deacon and short term mission team member.
Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, Pastor Rob Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in Alexander Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
