State workers guide a new dredge into Grand Lake on Wednesday near Freedom Outdoors marina off state Route 364. Grand Lake St. Marys State Park officials will use the dredge to increase sediment removal on the lake this year. The new dredge will go to work at Coldwater Creek. The state park's other two dredges will begin sediment removal projects at Riley Bay at Northwood Housing subdivision and at the St. Marys Boat Club channel. All three projects are expected to begin in the next few weeks.
