St. Marys' Erika Thornsberry was the focal point of opposing defenses this year but still went on to score over 15 points per game while leading the Roughriders to a share of the Western Buckeye League title. Thornsberry, headed to Division I Lipscomb next year, was named The Daily Standard Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
