The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 1100 AM EDT.
* At 826 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Robert Muhlenkamp
Robert L. Muhlenkamp, 80, Rockford, died at 7:25 a.m. June 5, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born July 9, 1930, in Mercer County, to Herbert and Asella Miller Muhlenkamp. He married Josephine Custer, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Angela) Muhlenkamp, Pacifica, Calif., and Scott (Lisa) Muhlenkamp, Celina; three daughters, Jennifer (Rich) Miller, Rockford, Ginger (Doug) Lehman and Gloria (Craig) Valentine, all of Celina; three brothers, Bernard (Kathleen) Muhlenkamp and Lavern (Pat) Muhlenkamp, all of Coldwater, and Gerald (Eileen) Muhlenkamp, Celina; a brother-in-law, Alvin Saintgnon, Celina; two sisters, Pauline Hess, Coldwater, and Dorothy (Louie) Hoyng, Celina; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Mary Ann Saintgnon, and one granddaughter.
A member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Rockford, he attended Immaculate Conception School in Celina. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Rockford, and the Moose Lodge, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, all in Celina.
His lifelong work was in construction. He served with the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 Wednesday and one hour prior to service Thursday at the funeral home. The Eagles will hold a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
