Marie Thaxton
Former Celina resident Marie Thaxton, 86, Springfield, died June 12, 2011.
She was born Feb. 15, 1925, in New Philadelphia, to Elmer and Juanita Messer. She is survived by her husband, Robert Thaxton.
Also surviving are four children, Mike (Deb) Thaxton, Crittenden, Ky., Jackie Fessler, York, Penn., Vikki (Tom) Brandenburg, Troy, and Patsy (Ron) Kerber, Sidney; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star.
There will be no public services.
Arrangements are being handled by Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
