John W. McGough
John W. McGough, 67, Celina, died 9 a.m. June 30, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Feb. 16, 1944, in Celina, to Wallace and Genevieve Stiner McGough. On Jan. 27, 1973, he married Sharon Hanna, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Tambra (Josh) Kimmel, Tracy Hole and David (Nikki) Hole, Celina; two brothers, Wesley McGough, Hicksville, and Frank (Judy) McGough, Kettering; three sisters, Jane (Herbert) Tobias, New Lebanon, Jeannette Balou, Rockford, and Kathy (Bob) Rutledge, Rockford; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are one brother, William McGough; two sisters, Joan Staugler and Roseann Teboe; two sisters-in-law, Cindy and Rosemary McGough; and two brothers-in-law, Les Staugler and Dick Teboe.
He graduated from Celina High School and served in the Army from 1965 to 1967 in Vietnam. He won a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. He retired from CAPT in Celina and was a member of the Celina VFW Post 5713.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery with military honors by the Celina American Legion Post and Celina VFW.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where a veterans membership service will be at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
