* WHERE...Delaware, Union, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby Counties.
* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Grand Lake St. Marys State Park operates three diesel-powered dredges: the Pump a Little, St. Marys and Eagle. The state park employs six dredge operators. Pictured is the Eagle (statewide traveling dredge):

  • Built in 1969 and began working on Grand Lake this year

  • 72 feet long and 17 feet wide

  • 10-inch discharge pipe

  • Pumps roughly 200 cubic yards of sediment an hour
