Robert Goodwin
Robert E. Goodwin, 91, St. Marys, died Aug 8, 2011, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1911, to William and Zelia Dixon Goodwin. On May 23, 1940, he married Grace W. Sollman, who died in February 1987.
Surviving are a son, Gary (Bonnie) Goodwin, Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Robert E. Goodwin; sisters, Bessie Cramer, Mary Stoker, Georgiana Carey and Maxine Laffin; and brothers, Frank and William "Bud" Goodwin.
He had been employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, and retired from Superior Tube Company, Wapakoneta. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, New Bremen.
Service is noon Saturday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton.
Calling is 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
