During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Robert Bayham
Robert Bayham, 95, St. Marys, died Aug. 15, 2011, at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1916, in Dayton to Frank and Flora Hobler Bayham. On Jan. 5, 1946, he married Cecilia M. Bochenek, who died Oct. 3, 2008.
Surviving are 13 children, Edward (Beverly) Bayham, St. Louis, Mo., Cynthia (William) Newlin, Dayton, Dennis Bayham, Dayton, Sandra (William) Evanoff, Indianapolis, Marilyn (William) Stewart, Fairborn, Andrew (Amee) Bayham, Louisville, Ohio, Cecilia Pechler, Huber Heights, Loretta (Suhbash) Verma, Mason, Margie (Doug) Whitling, St. Marys, Paul (Annette) Bayham, St. Marys, Ray (Helen) Bayham, Ypsilanti, Mich., Teresa Young, Parkton, Md., and Robert (Tammy) Bayham, St. Marys; 38 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Patrick Bayham.
He graduated from Kiser High School, Dayton, was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and was a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was a life member and past commander of American Legion Post 44, New Knoxville; a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, St. Marys; and a life member and Ohio state chairman emeritus of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Dayton.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and an honorary life member and past Grand Knight of Council 1592, Knights of Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 9 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at 11:45 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Memorial donations may be directed to Holy Rosary School library, St. Marys.
