During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Richard Weisenbarger
Richard C. "Dick" Weisenbarger, 79, St. Marys, died Aug. 19, 2011, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Darke County. On May 22, 1993, he married Izez Weadock Ankerman, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Kay (Patrick) Jennings of Arkansas, Kevin (Kim) Weisenbarger of Green Cove Spring, Fla., and Kristin Weisenbarger of Jonesboro, Tenn.; three stepchildren, Juliet (Jeff) Fleischer of North Conway, N.H., and Angela (David) Silverman and Melinda (Kevin) Golde, all of Cranston, Rhode Island; two brothers, Robert (Susie) Weisenbarger and Carl (Betty) Weisenbarger, all of Arcanum; a sister, Charlotte (Junior) Campbell of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
An infant brother and a stepson, Scott Ankerman, are deceased.
He retired as a mechanical engineer from the Dictaphone Corporation in Melbourne, Fla., and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, Mercer Lodge 151 and St. Paul United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial with full military honors follows at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
