* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Eleanora Hess
Eleanora Hess, 86, Coldwater, died at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 21, 2011, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born July 30, 1925, in Fort Loramie to William and Amelia Luthman Frilling. On June 16, 1946, she married Jerome Hess, who died Jan. 12, 2000.
Surviving are five children, Betty Jane (Carson) Cheeks, St. Henry, Linda (Thomas) Knapke, Englewood, Virginia (Robert) Niekamp, Rosholt, Wis., Donna (Daniel) Eyink, Coldwater, and Daniel (Deb) Hess, St. Henry; brothers, Robert Frilling, McCartyville, and Roman (Mildred) Frilling, St. Henry; sisters-in-law, Lorina Frilling, St. Marys, and Barb Frilling, Wisconsin; 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are two sisters and seven brothers.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality. She retired as a nurse's aide at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
