Charles Dock
Former Celina resident Charles W. Dock, 87, Englewood, died Sept. 5, 2011.
He was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Lima, to William and Opal Yaney Dock. He married Mary Sanders Dock, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael (Michele) Dock, Englewood; a brother, Edward Dock, Tipp City; and a grandson.
Deceased are a brother, Orville Dock, and a sister, Mary Smelser.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service, last serving as postmaster at the Englewood Post Office.
He was a 33rd Degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and was treasurer emeritus for the Antioch Shrine Temple, Dayton. He was active in the greeters group and the Children's Hospital Unit.
He served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific during World War II.
Masonic services are 7 p.m. today at Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood, followed by funeral services.
Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday at Wabash Cemetery, Wabash.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
