St. Marys River at Rockford.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:40 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 13.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Hurless Jr.
Former Fort Recovery resident William E. "Bill" Hurless Jr., 65, Chippewa Falls, Wis., died Sept. 22, 2011.
He was born June 6, 1946, in Portland, Ind., to Marilyn Spade Knoth and William Hurless Sr. He was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Paul and Grace Spade, Bryant, Ind.
Surviving are children, Dee Dee Effertz, Denise Allsage and Dexter Hurless, all of Eau Claire, Wis.; siblings, Connie Crowe, Celina, Melanie Westgerdes, Coldwater, Steve Knoth and Rick Knoth, both of Fort Recovery; and 10 grandchildren.
Deceased are his mother, grandparents and a brother.
A graduate of Bruce High School, Wis., he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a welder for Soo Line Railroad and other companies.
A memorial service was held Sept. 27, 2011, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Bruce, Wis. Burial was in Bruce Cemetery.
