Dalton Smith, 16, jumps over a ramp at the Wapakoneta skateboard park Wednesday evening. Celina city officials for years have been discussing building a skate park in Mercelina Park off Lake Shore Drive. Nearly $35,000 from fundraisers and a grant has been secured for the local park.

CELINA - Only minor incidents have occurred at skateboard parks in nearby communities, where officials call the facilities positive additions.
