Paul Lefeld Jr.

Paul J. Lefeld Jr., 56, Coldwater, died at 11:16 a.m. Oct. 9, 2011, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.

He was born Jan. 26, 1955, in Coldwater to Paul Sr. and Rose Mary Tangeman Lefeld. His mother survives in Coldwater; his father is deceased. On Aug. 4, 1984, he married Lisa Moorman, who survives in Coldwater.

Also surviving are three children, Lindsey (Kody) Highley, Sidney, and Kylie Lefeld and Kaci Lefeld, both of Coldwater; nine siblings, Jane (Jeff) Snellenberger, Celina, Judy (Jerry) Marbaugh, Celina, Sue (Jerry) Myers, Wichita Falls, Texas, Steve (Diane) Lefeld, Mike (Marty) Lefeld, Ken (Brenda) Lefeld, Dan (Joan) Lefeld, Carol (Steve) Feltz, all of Coldwater, and Connie (Todd) Troutwine, Arcanum; a mother-in-law, Rosemary Moorman, Coldwater; and five in-laws, Diann (Joe) Schneider, Coldwater, Judy (Marce) Nietfeld, Celina, Jack (Pat) Moorman, Coldwater, Rick (Mary) Moorman, Coldwater, and Sherri (Marv) Siefring, St. Henry.

Also deceased is sister, Mary Rose Lefeld, and father-in-law, Edgar Moorman.

He was a partner in Lefeld Implement, where he was an IT manager. He also was a farmer. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Knights of Columbus, Coldwater Eagles, Celina Moose and a social member of Coldwater Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Memorials may be directed to Paul Lefeld Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Mercer County Civic Foundation.
