A proposed school voucher program may revive financially struggling Catholic schools but put a squeeze on public school funding.
Ohio House Bill 136, called the Parental Choice and Taxpayer Savings scholarship program (PACT), would provide state funding to income-eligible families seeking to enroll children in private schools. Students already attending private schools would be eligible for the vouchers in the future. [More]

Parkway rallies from 21-point deficit in fourth quarter
NEW BREMEN - The Parkway Panthers scored 27 points in the final 12 minutes to rally and defeat the New Bremen Cardinals 41-40 in overtime during Midwest Athletic Conference play on Friday at Cardinal Stadium.
ANNA - The line play of Anna dominated on both sides of the ball as the Rockets defeated a struggling St. Henry squad 40-0 at Booster Field in Shelby County on Friday night.
