Four people were injured when a pickup truck and SUV collided at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday on Celina-Mendon Road, north of state Route 197 in Celina. The driver of the SUV, Lester V. Youngker, 80, of Celina, was northbound when he attempted a left turn in front of the southbound truck, driven by James M. Allen IV, 30, also of Celina, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's report. Allen claimed injury but was not transported by squad. Taken to area hospitals by ambulance were Youngker and two occupants in his vehicle, Pauline Youngker, 80, and Helen Richards, 77, both of Celina. Youngker was cited for failure to yield.
