Ned Glass
Ned A. Glass, 72, St. Marys, died at 6:37 a.m. Dec. 7, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born March 11, 1939, in Noble Township to Ivan "Mike" and Ruth Rasneor Glass. On Dec. 26, 1959, he married Christine F. Richey, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael (Jan) Glass, St. Marys; two daughters, Christi Mae Buehler and Angela L. Glass, both of St. Marys; a sister, Barbara Glass, St. Marys; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Dougie A. Glass and Jeffie A. Glass, and a sister, Shirley McEvoy.
He was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Free and Accepted Masons Mercer Lodge 121 and Eagles Lodge 767, all in St. Marys. He was retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima, and was a farmer. He was a 1957 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Steve Weatherly officiating. Private family burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic services are 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the church or St. Peter's Center for Neurological Development.
