Rosemary Knapke
Rosemary Knapke, 89, Celina, died at 9:15 a.m. Jan. 8, 2012, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 4, 1923, in Indiana, to Oscar F. and Marie C. Baker Schaadt. On Aug. 23, 1941, she married Ivo H. Knapke, who died Oct. 16, 1976.
Surviving are a daughter, Maryanne Knapke, Celina, and a sister, Lois Gross, Troy.
Deceased are four sisters, Margaret Rismiller, Anna Lee Kohlhorst, Norma Mae Utz and Bonnie Lou Martens.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its Altar Rosary Society and Daughters of Isabella. She was a homemaker and an Avon representative.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Ken Alt officiating. Burial is in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 3:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
