Mabel Williams
Mabel L. Williams, 92, Celina, died at 10:55 p.m. Jan. 9, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born Sept. 20, 1919, in Piqua, to Charles and Mary Murphy Chaney. On Oct. 22, 1938, she married Lewis Williams, who died Jan. 30, 1987.
Surviving are five children, Mike (Nancy) Williams, New Bremen, Pat (Mary) Williams, St. Marys, Sonnie, (Rev. Gerald) Gallaway, Delton, Mich., Sharon (Mike) McKirnan, Celina, and Susan (Robert) Sullivan, St. Marys; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four siblings, Virgil Chaney, Robert Chaney, Ralph Chaney and Reva Sanders.
She was a member of Hillsdale United Brethren Church, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Gerald Gallaway officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
