Norbert Watercutter
Norbert W. Watercutter, 92, McCartyville, died Jan. 16, 2012, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
He was born May 1, 1919, in McCartyville to Henry and Elizabeth Otting Watercutter. On May 3, 1947, he married Frances M. Esser, who died Aug. 31, 2007.
Surviving are children, Judy (David) Boerger, Fort Wayne, Ind., Dan (Nita) Watercutter, Sidney, Bill (Laura) Watercutter, Piqua, Deb (Ron) Maloon, Jackson Center, and Jerry (Diane) Watercutter, with whom he lived in McCartyville; a son-in-law, Steve Germond, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Pat Germond; siblings, Lawrence, Edward, Joseph, Raymond and Albert Watercutter, Eleanor Huelskamp Homan, Alvina Bruns, Loretta Ossege and Clara Driscoll.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, and its men's sodality, Knights of Columbus in McCartyville and many farm co-ops. He was an Anna school bus driver for 36 years and a retired lifelong farmer.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. John Tonkin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 pm. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the church building fund.
