Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the overnight hours. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions overnight and exercise extra caution.

Ursula Boise
Former Mercer County resident Ursula M. Boise, 93, West Liberty, died Jan. 20, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Dayton, to Jesse C. and Lura E. Moore Poor.
On Oct. 19, 1941, she married John F. Boise, DDS, who died July 16, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Rex Owen Boise, West Liberty, and Bruce Allen Boise, Key West, Fla.; two siblings, retired U.S. Air Force Col. Allen (Jean) Poor, Fountain Hills, Ariz., Mary (John) Bates, Shaker Heights; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Deceased is a brother and a sister-in-law, William and Jean Poor.
She received a bachelor's in eduction degree from Bowling Green State University and taught at Scioto Trails Elementary School, Columbus.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral home, Celina, the Rev. Jonathan Exman officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
