Betty Bowersock
Betty A. Bowersock, 84, St. Marys, died Jan. 25, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 17, 1928, in St. Marys, to Ralph and Mary Ruperd McElroy. On Jan. 21, 1949, she married Norman R. Bowersock, who died March 23, 2007.
Surviving are a son, Roger (Patty) Bowersock, Celina; two sisters, Marylou (Melvin) Schumann, Botkins, and Jerrilyn Temple, Celina; three sisters-in-law, Marge McElroy, Monroe, Ind., Esther McElroy, Bedford, Ind., and Jean Bowersock, Dayton; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are seven brothers, William, Walter Leroy, Robert, Leo, Ralph Jr., Walter Lee and Edgar McElroy.
She was a homemaker.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, West Chapel, the Rev. Bill Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
