Wilbur Warner
Wilbur W. Warner, 90, St. Marys, died at 9:07 p.m. Jan. 25, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Nov. 19, 1921, in New Bremen to Raleigh and Flora Lutterbein Warner. On June 4, 1949, he married Jean Blank, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mary (James) Bell, Evanston, Ill.; siblings, Vera (Guy) Schmidt, Celina, and Evelyn Heinfeld, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
Deceased is an infant brother, Edwin Warner.
A 1939 graduate of New Bremen High School, he retired as manager of Auglaize Landmark grain elevator in New Bremen, New Knoxville and St. Marys.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St.Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where memorials may be made to the church, Joint Township Palliative Care Service or Cardiac Care Center at the Cleveland Clinic.
