Walter Stemen
Walter E. Stemen, 64, Celina, died Feb. 17, 2012, at his home.
He was born July 17, 1947, in Celina, to Rex and Vera Smelser Stemen.
Surviving are three children, Natalie (Tony) Neading, Apison, Tenn., Tammy Stemen, Columbus, and Cindy (Ty) Suzuki, Rockford; four siblings, Mary (Ron) Cisco, Celina, Susie (Fred) Wurster, Celina, Fred (Bev) Stemen, California, and Alan (Betty) Black, Washington; and three grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Celina American Legion.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina. Burial with military honors will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
