Dennis Ward
Dennis G. Ward, 63, Wapakoneta, died at 8:22 a.m. April 22, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born June 15, 1948, in Celina, to Charles and Alice Cotterman Ward. On Dec. 17, 1966, he married Kathy L Dunlap, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Tammy (George) Myers, Buckland, Lorna (Howie) Glover, Cridersville, Dennis Jr. (Jenny) Ward, St. Marys, Bettie (David) Hess Sr., St. Marys, and Douglas (Wendy) Ward, Spencerville; 18 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Deceased are two siblings, Amber Kay Baird and Charles Jr. Ward, and a grandchild.
A 1966 graduate of Celina High School, he was a crane operator at Omni Source, Lima.
Service is 1:30 p.m. Friday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, Tom Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
