Roger H. Hawk

Roger H. Hawk, 74, Rockford, died at 4:30 p.m. June 2, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert.

He was born May 23, 1938, in Liberty Township, to William B. and Thelma Groth Hawk. His mother survives in Rockford. On Nov. 15, 1959, he married Connie S. Haas, who died Dec. 31, 2010.

Also surviving are a son, Michael (Linda) Hawk, Rockford; two sisters, Miriam (Robert) Fetters, Mendon, and Charlene Hawk, Rockford; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also deceased is a daughter, Victoria Mosier.

He was a farmer and was a 50-year member and former master of the Shanes Lodge #377 F&AM.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Van Wert County Community Health Professionals and Visiting Nurses or Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
