Florence Paulus
Florence Paulus, 85, Celina, died at 4:23 a.m. July 22, 2012, at The Gardens at Celina.
She was born Dec. 5, 1926, in St. Henry, to James Clifford and Mary Louise Rafferty Jacobs. In April 1980, she married Norbert Paulus, who is deceased.
Survivors are four sons, Jim (Cindy) Mott, Orlando, Fla., John Mott, St. Marys, Jerry (Amber) Mott, Celina, and Joe (Cindy) Mott, Celina; two daughters, Elizabeth Staugler, Celina, and Mary J. Mott, Bradenton, Fla.; two stepchildren, Tony Paulus, Piqua, and Gary (Michelle) Paulus, Vandalia; a brother, Kenneth (Marge) Jacobs, St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Helen Jacobs, Coldwater, and Ruth Jacobs, Celina; a brother-in-law, Gerald Meyer, Dayton; 27 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Jeffrey Mott; two brothers, Art Jacobs and Donnie Jacobs; eight sisters, Evelyn Haney, Lucille Meyer, Helen Reigelsperger, Geraldine Theile, Mary Jacobs, Louise Jacobs, Theresa Jacobs and Luella Jacobs; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, after 30 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina. She also was a member of the Celina VFW Auxiliary.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
