Jimmie Lee Vogan
Jimmie Lee Vogan, 76, Ohio City, died at 6:09 a.m. July 25, 2012, at his home following a long illness.
He was born Jan. 24, 1936, in St. Marys to Tim and Olga Kiser Vogan. He married Dorothy Gibson, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Lani (Steve) Byrley, Celina, and Jim (Freda) Vogan, Lexington, Tenn.; two step-children, Deanna (Roger) Hoehn, Delphos, and Robb (Lisa) Brenneman, Middle Point; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and former wife, Roxanne Vogan, St. Marys.
Deceased are a former wife, Janice Vogan; five brothers, Thomas "Tub" Vogan, Adam "Buster" Vogan, Jake Vogan, Bill Vogan and Pat Vogan; and a sister, Mary Ann Vogan.
He attended St. Marys Memorial High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ron Boyer officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
