* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

John Hamsher
John H. Hamsher, 83, Wabash, died at 3:37 p.m. Aug. 8, 2012, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Portage to John and Lottie Parsons Hamsher. On July 3, 1967, he married Rachel Farzier, who died May 25, 1997.
Surviving is a son, John David Hamsher, Pataskala; two daughters, Rachel Marie (Tim) Heiby, Coldwater, and Diane Hamsher Reid (John) Anderson, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Earl Hamsher, is deceased.
He retired from the former Huffy Corp. in 1991 and was a member of Beaver Chapel Congregational Christian Church.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Christen officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
