The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Alfred Sudhoff
Alfred I. Sudhoff, 83, Coldwater, died Aug. 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 5, 1928, in Fort Recovery to Henry and Veronica Muhlenkamp Sudhoff. On April 25, 1953, he married Cleo Braun, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Karen (Robert) Allard, Cincinnati, Sandy (Larry) Sielschott, Celina, and Brenda Sudhoff, Portland, Ind.; two sons, Rick (Darlene) Sudhoff, Coldwater, and Ron (Norma) Sudhoff, Fort Recovery; three sisters, Irene Link, Fort Recovery, Merilda Fleck, Celina, and Mary Knapke, Coldwater; four brothers, Herman (Dorothy) Sudhoff, Fort Recovery, Paul (Mary) Sudhoff, Madison, Ind., Alvin (Judy) Sudhoff, Fort Recovery, and Ray (Margie) Sudhoff, Fort Recovery; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son, Roger Sudhoff; an infant daughter, Mary Ann Sudhoff; and a sister, Rita Meinerding.
He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
