Mary L. Herzog, 41, St. Marys, died at 5:25 p.m. Aug. 16, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

She was born May 22, 1971, in Defiance. Her father, John Henry (Clara) Walter survives in Delphos; her mother, Arbutis Mary Gayheart (Chuck) Jenkins, survives in Celina.

Survivors include her husband, Alvie Herzog, St. Marys; a daughter, Shannon Herzog, St. Marys; a son, Corey Herzog, St. Marys; a sister, Connie Sue Derr, St. Marys; a brother, James D. Walter, Lima; parents-in-law, Verlious and Joan Herzog, St. Marys; and nieces and nephews.

She attended Spencerville schools, was a homemaker and was employed in the dietary department at OtterbeinSt. Marys.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.

Calling is noon-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
