Regatta music fest

Local band Mo Blues performs on Saturday afternoon at the Celina Governor's Cup Regatta Music Fest at Lake Shore Park. The nine-hour music festival, which also featured Erastus and Country Mile, was put on to raise money for next year's Governor's Cup Regatta. This year's race was canceled due to low water levels in Grand Lake. Event spokesman Allen Baskett said the day went well and people had a good time even though the turnout was not as large as organizers had hoped.
