The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Carthagena, Neptune, Chattanooga and Maria Stein.

Ernest Street
Ernest J. Street, 58, St. Marys, died at 10:25 a.m. Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born April 26, 1954, in Sidney, to Ernest and Hilda Marshall Street. His mother survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are a daughter, Precious (Shane) Rowe, St. Marys; a son, Dusty (Theresa) Baumgarter, Florida.; two brothers, Freddy Street, Versailles, and Larry (Dee) Street, St. Marys; four sisters, Patti (Bob) Hull, Lake Wales, Fla., Gloria May, Dayton, Lisa Street, St. Marys, and Clarice (Bob) Hall, St. Marys; and three grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Ronnie and Teddy Street.
He graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School in 1973. He worked as a laborer for H.A. Dorsten Construction Co., Minster, and was a member of the St. Marys Eagles Lodge Aerie 767.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
