Geneva Kerber
Geneva M. Kerber, 92, formerly of Minster, died at 10 a.m. Oct. 17, 2012, in Findlay.
She was born March 12, 1920, in Screven, Ga., to John and Katherine Brandewie Dues. In 1946 she married William Kerber, who died in 1953. In 1956, she married Paul Kerber, who died on Dec. 6, 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Tony) Lanagan, Findlay, and Susan (Larry) Krieg, New Castle, Ind.; siblings, Lorina Geiger, Ga., Irvin (Juanita) Dues, Minster, and Paul Dues, Minster; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are an infant daughter Mary Geneva; two grandchildren; a son-in-law, Nicholas Schmiesing; a sister-in-law Norma Dues; and siblings, Georgina Farren, Gilbert Dues and Alvira Dues.
She graduated from Minster High School and served as a Girl Scout Leader and Avon representative.
Mass of Christian Burial is 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 8:45-9:15 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Indian School.
