Bonnie Butcher
Bonnie D. Butcher, 92, Bardstown, Ky., formerly of Portland, Ind. and Coldwater, died Dec. 2, 2012, at Colonial Health and Rehabilitation, Bardstown.
She was born March 1, 1920, in Kentucky, to Everett and Olive Choat Armstrong. She married James J. Butcher, who died Dec. 3, 1973.
Surviving are a son, Robert "Bob" J. Butcher, Celina; a daughter, Olive Joy Pharmer, Bloomfield, Ky.; a brother, Henry Armstrong, San Francisco, Calif.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She worked for Jay Garment, Portland, from 1950 to 1961.
Funeral services are 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, Portland. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bryant, Ind.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the resident fund at Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bardstown, Ky.
