At 420 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of Union City, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Versailles, St. Henry, Union City, Fort Recovery, Ansonia, Osgood, Burkettsville, North Star, Rossburg, New Weston, Yorkshire, Darke County Airport, Rose Hill, Cosmos, Maria Stein, and Eldora Speedway.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Alma Overman
Alma O. Overman, 87, formerly of Maria Stein, died Dec. 16, 2012, at Celina Manor.
She was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Coldwater to Jacob and Josephine Stegeman Bernard. On May 28, 1948, she married Richard F. Overman, who died Nov. 26, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Michael (Rhonda) Overman, Celina; a sister, Roseanne Braun, Coldwater; and two grandchildren.
Also deceased are eight siblings, Alfred, Ferd and Fred Bernard, Bernard and Carl Stegeman, Edna Hartings, Ruth Rohler and Rita Fortkamp.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina, St. John the Baptist Church, Maria Stein, and its Ladies Sodality and American Legion Auxiliary, Maria Stein. She was retired from Hemmelgarn Eggs Inc., where she had worked as a secretary.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiant. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be given to A.R.C. of Mercer County.
