The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ty Boeckman
Ty Boeckman, 43, Coldwater, died Jan. 29, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born July 8, 1969, in Coldwater to Eugene "Fuzzy" and Barb Feltz Boeckman. His father is deceased; his mother and stepfather, Ken Wenning, survive in McCartyville. On June 13, 1992, he married Theresa Wilker, who survives in Coldwater.
He is also survived by two children, Kyle Boeckman and Amber Boeckman, both at home; five brothers and sisters, Sheri (Kevin) Pohlman of Maria Stein, Tim Boeckman of Osgood, Stacy (Brent) Bruggeman of McCartyville, Toby Boeckman of St. Marys and Stephanie Boeckman of St. Marys; parents-in-law, Short and Judy Wilker of Celina; and in-laws, Tracy (Dan) Keeling of Celina and Randy (Mary) Wilker of Powell.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, a past president of the Coldwater Athletic Boosters and a 1987 graduate of Coldwater High School. He worked at JR Manufacturing in Fort Recovery.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
