Wanda Schneidt
Wanda L. Schneidt, 86, Goodland, Ind., died at 3:45 a.m. Feb. 2, 2013, at Jasper County Hospital Alternacare, Rensselaer, Ind.
She was born May 10, 1926, in Clinton, Tenn., to Lee and Rushie Black Ridenour. On Nov. 26, 1955, she married Richard E. "Dick" Schneidt, who survives in Goodland, Ind.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (Steve) Torbet of Rensselaer, Ind., and Joan Sondgeroth of Earl Park, Ind.; a son, Jim (Angie) Schneidt of Celina; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, R.L. Ridenour, and a sister, Barbara Christopher.
She graduated in 1946 from Wadena High School, Wadena, Ind., and was a homemaker and devoted farm wife. She worked hard at home and on the farm and also enjoyed doing crafts. She was a member at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Goodland.
Funeral services were today at Gerts Funeral Home, Goodland, Ind., the Rev. Robert Bernotas officiant. Burial followed at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Goodland.
Memorials may be given to Jasper County Hospital Alternacare.
