Rebecca S. Arling
Rebecca S. Arling, 50, Osgood, died at 11:08 a.m. April 8, 2013, at Miami Valley Hospital.
She was born Dec. 21, 1962, in Coldwater to Richard E. and Bernice I. Fortkamp Poling. Her father is deceased; her mother survives in Coldwater.
She married Frank J. "Wills" Arling on April 11, 1987, in Burkettsville. He survives in Osgood.
She is also survived by her children, Jacob, Brandon and Hannah, all at home; brothers and sisters, Steve (Teresa) Poling of St. Henry, Karen (Ken) Davis of Dublin, Kevin (Theresa) Poling of Keller, Texas, Mary Beth (Steve) Rosenbeck of Chickasaw and Melissa (Mike) Stucke of Tipp City.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kenneth and her in-laws Frank Sr.. and Mary Ann Arling.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Osgood and the St. Barbara Ladies Sodality of the church, a past CCD teacher, a member of the funeral choir and a church lector. She was with the Osgood Life Squad for seven years, a cashier for Arling Evers Auctioneers and a reflexologist.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, the Rev. David Zink celebrant.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. Burial will take place in St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Memorials may be given to Osgood Rescue Squad.
