* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Dawn breaks

An orange hue is cast as dawn breaks early this morning at the spillway along West Bank Road. Temperatures are expected to climb to 70 degrees today followed by showers tonight and an overnight low of 50. Grand Lake's water level at the spillway was 15 inches above normal pool this morning.
