At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Ribfest this weekend

Barry Rolfes and Ryan Rolfes, of Butter's BBQ Bones, cut into a slab of pork ribs at the 7th annual Mercer County Ribfest that kicked off Friday at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. The Rolfes expect to go through nearly 900 pounds of ribs and pulled pork during the two-day extravaganza that will feature a variety of BBQ rib food stands, live music, a car show and a cruise-in. Today's lineup of activities includes a Ribfest 5K at 9:30 a.m., Buckeye State Pedal Pull at 1 p.m., bike night (all motorcycles welcome) at 5 p.m., live music at 6 p.m., rib-eating contest at 8:30 p.m. and other activities.
