Animals receive blessing

The Rev. Becky Erb-Strang of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen blesses Penelope, a Teacup pig, during a Sunday afternoon ceremony on the church grounds. Looking on is the pig's owner Gayle Wray of Covington. Other pets blessed during the annual ceremony included one cat and dogs of all sizes. Refreshments for pets and their owners followed the service.
