Margaret Ida Bischoff Koppelman, 98, died peacefully on May 30, 2013, at Kingston Memory Care in Sylvania.

She was born July 13, 1914, in Whiteford Township, Riga Mich., to George F. and Ida Pollex Bischoff. On June 15, 1940, she married Erwin Koppelman, who died in 1986.

Surviving are her four talented sons, Duane (Susan) Koppelman of Tecumseh, Mich., Ronald (Cheryl) Koppelman of Fort Recovery, Richard (Sue Sandlin) Koppelman of Toledo, and Gary (Beverly) Koppelman of Blissfield, Mich.; 14 beautiful grandchildren; 11 wonderful great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister, Yvonne McDole; a sister-in-law, Pat Bischoff; and many special nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by brothers, Loren and Lavern Bischoff; sisters, Emma Uloth, Blanche Bischoff, who died in infancy, and Gertrude McKimmey; and a grandson, Joseph Koppelman.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael Lutheran Church, Ottawa Lake, Mich. Burial will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.

Calling is 4-9 p.m. Friday at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
