Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Carol Jenkins-Huber
Carol Lynn Jenkins-Huber, 79, of Waverly and formerly of Celina, passed away at 11:49 p.m. June 11, 2013, in Centerville.
She was born Sept. 19, 1933, in Celina, to Henry Bud and Mary Barber Fredericks. On July 1, 1996, she married Paul Huber, who lives in Centerville.
Also surviving are her children, Michael Jenkins of Celina, Thomas Jenkins of Celina, Kellie (Mark) Courtney of Covington, Steve (Sherri) Huber of Miamisburg, Jeff Huber of Dayton, Paul Huber of Dayton, Jana Blue of Moraine, Teri (Brian) Quinlan of Miamisburg, Mike (Joan) Huber of Centerville and Rona (Steve) Dorsey of Grove City; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Jenkins; her sister, Jackie Lininger; a brother, Jim Lee; and her great-grandson, Caleb Anthony.
She graduated from Celina High School. She managed the cafeteria at the Celina City Schools and retired in 1991. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina and a member of the Order of Eastern Star #91 of Celina.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Matt Overman officiating. Burial will be in North Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with an Eastern Star Services at 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery County Hospice in Dayton.
